Allow me to introduce myself to you. I
am Ronnie E. Hawkins, Sr. and I am researching the Westphal-Westfall Family Tree. The Westphal-Westfall line starts in and
around St. Joseph
and Cass Counties, Michigan around 1870 when this
Westphal-Westfall line came to America.
I am in the process of collecting information
in hopes of perhaps making a book or booklet on this Westphal line like what was done on my surname. So far I have a good
start and I am asking any people that may be related to this line is to contact me so your information can be added to this
line. The book or booklet at this time will be ONLY available to those that have ties with this line.
If you know any of the names listed below
that are relation to you I ask you for your help so that we can make this book as complete as possible. There will also be
a list of known places that I have found out so far as to where the Westphal’s and related families have or still are
living today. I would like to include everyone that is part of this line. Other contents of this book or booklet will be documented
pictures that I have taken of headstones and from the cemetery in which they came from.
If you have any photo’s that you
would like to be in the book please drop me a line so we can discuss them. I have to capabilities to reformat and resize pictures
to that they all will somewhat uniform in the book.
If we can establish that you are part of
this family and have some obituaries of family members I encourage you to pass them on to me so that the information in them
can be added to make this history of the Westphal-Westfall line more complete.

NOTE:
I have just discovered that the Westphal's and Westfall's in and around the Marcellus, Cass County, Michigan area are related
to each other. The oldest males from both of these lines although having different spellings for the surname ARE brothers.
Upon research of going through death records located in Cassopolis, Cass County, Michigan I discovered they had the same set
of parents, not to mention that many, many records are also mispelled for the Westphal surname. Numerous files of the people
with the surname Westphal were recorded as having the surname misspelled as Westfall. There maybe many more relatives in Cass
County that could very well be related to these 2 brothers as I have came across numerous people living elsewhere in the county
with the surname Westfall. Please drop back often and as I find more information I'll post it on here. Soon to be added to
